MARC BERTAUD TO COME TO BELK COOLSPRINGS

“Makeup isn’t about the way you look, but about the way you feel.”

Marc Bertaud has been in the fashion and makeup industry since 1999 and is passionate about teaching women how to look their best.

Although self taught, Marc has closely studied the work and techniques of Kevyn Aucoin, Sam Flake and of course Laura Mercier. During his time with Laura Mercier, Marc has had the opportunity to work and learn techniques first-hand from Laura.

Marc has worked with a diverse group of women, giving him the experience needed to create the perfect look for any client.  “Makeup isn’t about the way you look, but about the way you feel”, explains Marc. One of his favorite tips to share with customers is how to do ten minute makeup. Marc believes that “all women are beautiful without heavy foundation”. He educates his clients that beauty trends have changed over the years and teaches them new approaches to their makeup.

His work includes numerous fashion shows for designers and magazines including Harper’s Bazaar. Marc now travels throughout the United States and internationally teaching the philosophy and techniques of Laura Mercier. He most recently attended the 2007 HBO Emmy After Party where he provided touch-ups to guests and celebrities in the Laura Mercier Lounge.
